My brother Martin lives in Ulsan South Korea. He is an english teacher working for a private school. In S.Korea, english is a required subject in the Korean school system. However, there are multiple "private" schools that employ westerners to teach the children a practical approach to english, and how it is actually used in everyday situations. He is at the end of his second year contract. He loves the work, the people, and the country. He has even become engaged to a beautiful Korean woman, and they hope to be married in the near future.
Anyway, he is flying back to Dallas/Fortworth Texas, arriving today, Feb 2nd., for a brief vacation and re-connection with our family. His fiance, MyeongHee is not able to accompany him, as visas for Koreans are very hard to come by.
Everyone will be gathering at my fathers house on Superbowl Sunday, to welcome Marty back, and of course to watch the big game. I sure wish I could be there to give him a big HUG!
