Shit, the government just gave away the farm again. This time, to the pharmaceutical giants. Obama supported the importation of prescription drugs, before he didn't. The cost for prescription drugs in this country is rising faster than anywhere else in the world. YAAY for us! Unless, that is, you don't have health coverage, or your health coverage does not provide for copay on drugs your doctor prescribes.
I have ordered prescription drugs from around the world through a reputable Pharmacy in Canada, for several years, and saved a bundle of money. Name brand drugs from England, Australia, and Israel.
However, our government caved to lobbying by giant pharmaceutical companies in this country, enabling them to continue to rape citizens of this country, and all the while, claiming the high cost is due to R & D..... Baloney!
When patents run out on name brand drugs, and they are supposed to become generic. But all they have to do before the patent runs out is make minor changes, even in the in the packaging, and the patent gets extended!
What the hell is that about? Give me a break!
