ON THE BRINK 1.0

tRump is proceeding along the path to strongman dictatorial control of our republic, abetted by Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, (R- KY), who for the past 9 years has increasingly worked, not for the benefit of Kentucky, and the nation, but for his own personal interests, and that of his party. And, since the 2016 election of Don tRump as president, McConnell along with the republican controlled senate  has totally abdicated his sworn duty to the constitution, and our republic, to the enrichment of his own personal well being, and of tRump and his family, and to the peril of the American people, and our republic.
tRump continues the drum-beat of "the press is the enemy of the people". A new and alarming trend is his use of the word treason, and the increasing regularity of it being repeated in ranting rhetoric against the press at his rallies and in  his 2020 campaign propaganda.  His goal being to negate and nullify any negative information from any source that could jeopardize him in any way.  His public comments stating that receiving any information regarding political opponents,  from a foreign entity is acceptable is just another brick in the wall of total control that he is attempting to build.
I am unable to imagine another 4 years under tRump's control. Nor am I able to picture what the state of our nation might look like.
