TGIF

Thank God its Friday!
Had a 5-pack of Monday's this week. Busier than a cat covering up.....Well, you get the idea.
Thought that when we became "empty-nesters", that my wife and I would have more quality time together. Now it seems I'm working more hours than ever before. Can't seem make it good enough, fast enough, or cheap enough to satisfy the customer.
But, the good news is that business is very "robust". That's a buzz word that is used in business allot now to denote that something is good, or strong. Another one is "glide path". Lets say you produce 1,000,000 widgets. However, you want your company to be able to produce 2,000,000 widgets. Well, the "glide path'" is the buzz word for the strategedy you develop to achieve the goal.
Woopee!

I always thought the glide path was a measure of how long a company can last on a total loss of revenue.

Actually, the "glide path" can be a measure of time needed to achieve success, or, as you describe, time left before the "end".
