THE GRADUATE

We now are the proud parents of a college graduate!

As you can see by the "deer in the headlights" look on Kyle's face, he is very excited about graduating, and finally having to face the real world, and all of it's secrets and surprises.

Actually Kyle is excited about his graduation from ISU, with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts in the Theater department, Acting discipline. He has plans all laid out for the summer and beyond.

He will move back home at the end of June, when the lease on his apartment here in Normal Illinois runs out. He'll live on the "dole" with us,until September,working two jobs and stashing as much "dough" as he can. Come September, he will migrate to Chicago Illinois, where he has an apartment already staked out. He signed a lease in April, with two young ladies, (also fellow graduates from the theater department of ISU), on very cool digs in a fairly trendy area of "Uptown" Chicago, that is about a 20 minute ride on the "L", from the Downtown Chicago Loop.

Once there, he has two priorities. (1.) GET A JOB!! (2.) BEGIN AUDITIONING!!

It promises to be a very exciting, scary, and challenging time for Kyle. We are extremely proud of him, and expect him to do very well. He has a great personality, and has considerable acting ability.....(we're not too prejudiced). Anyway, we are looking forward to traveling up to the Windy City in the not too distant future, to watch our son perform on one of the many theater stages in Chicago. And this is just the first phase of his "grand plan". The second phase will come later, (only time will tell how much later). Phase two will be to travel to the Big Apple, and apply his talents towards the goal of treading the boards on the Great White Way.... yes, you guessed it, BROADWAY! We think he'll make it!
