Whew! The midterm elections are finally over! The rancorous vitriolic rhetoric reached a saturation level long before any voters ever reached the voting booths. In Illinois, Senator Bill Brady (R) lost the race for the Governor's mansion literally by a whisker. It was his second attempt at the job. I hope he goes to sleep every night wondering, if he might have prevailed had he presented some specifics on just how we planned to pull the state of Illinois out of the financial shit-hole it is in, rather than constantly bashing his Democratic opponent...... I probably would not have voted for him in any case. However, since he offered no "Bill Brady" solutions, we'll never know what might have been.
The next turkey we'll be working on is the one we roast on Thursday 11/24/10!
