Today, I'm 27 days post op. I've lost the walker, and the 4-point cane, and am now using a standard cane. Hope to be free of that in another week or so. There is still a fair amount of discomfort, muscles that were dissected are still in the healing process. However, NO HIP PAIN!!
I was really hoping to get back to the factory, at least for half days, by May 1st... I think that was a little ambitious on my part. I admit I am not quite ready for that yet. While I've been seeing the physical therapist twice a week, since April 16, I don't see my surgeon until may 12th. That will be 6 weeks to the day, post op. I am confident he will release me to go back to work on the 13th.......
We'll see how that goes!
