Things are beginning to heat up North of the 39th parallel. Kim Jong IL's constant sabre rattling, and increasingly aggressive threats to launch it's Taepodong-2 ballistic missle (see photo), toward the Hawaiian islands this July 4th, threatens to take the world much closer to a armed and possibly nuclear confrontation.
It kind of puts me in mind of the classic John Ford film "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" The wild lawless town of Shinbone, where Liberty Valence, a ruthless thug violently runs rough-shod over the townsfolk, and anyone else who ventures within the near vicinity. Enter Ransom Stoddard, the upstart young lawyer who wants to bring law to the townspeople and the region, by settling things diplomatically, through law full means. This agitates Liberty, who begins escalating ugly and violent threats, until he forces a showdown. Well, if you know the film, you know Tom Doniphon really shot Liberty Valance, which allowed Ransom Stoddard to finally bring law fullness to the region. The question that goes begging is; In the real life North Korean version of the celluloid classic, who is going to be the world's "Tom Doniphon" ?
PS... Hey Mard we're thinking about you.

No Worries here. To most folks here, Kim Jong-Il is just another dickhead on a power trip. They aren't real worried about the Koreans attacking here.
And I sure ain't Tom Doniphon.
hey... look at the pirate.
