Our son Kyle who lives in downtown Chicago Illinois, continues to pursue his goal of being a successful working theater actor.
His latest foray is into the world of "photo-fables". These are created by artist ara lucia.
The "photo-fable" is a story created by ara lucia, and told via still photography. There is no dialog, however the shots taken, employ the full range of costuming, makeup, props and lighting that are used in the making of professional photography and filmed motion pictures. The end result is beautifully matted and framed stills of the fable, which are then marketed. It is quite interesting.
The latest fable entitled "We Vow" is being shot out of doors in the Chicago area on Saturday, and Sunday, October 10, and 11. The first link I've provided takes you to to ara lucia's website The second link is to youtube, where a short video explains "character discovery" activity used in the process of "fleshing" out the individual characters in the fable. Kyle is the blond actor whose beard is red..... check it out!

The final photos should be up somewhere around a month or so. I am expecting big results so hopefully it will pay off! WOOP!
