It was interesting, and tragic listening and watching while the judge in Lindsay Lohan's sentence hearing pronounced the verdict of 90 days in jail, followed by 90 days in rehab. And, it was embarrassing to see and hear Lindsay sobbing and basically pleading for mercy.
It is always unfortunate to see someone with such obvious talent make the wrong choices, and end up on the road to being broken and burned out. Seems that some folks, when they start becoming beautiful bright stars, can't take the resulting heat that their celebrity generates. Their lives end up spiraling out of control, until they "flame out".
If Lindsay cannot gain control over herself, she may wind up joining a select club. Jimmy Hendrix, Janet Joplin, Elvis Presley, to name a few, were luminaries that are already members.
